Beyond major BHA components, safeguarding the integrity of your directional string requires precision-machined transition tools. Our non-magnetic downhole accessories are engineered to API 7-1 standards, providing essential spacing, thread protection, and fluid control without introducing magnetic interference to your MWD/LWD systems.

1. Non-Magnetic Pony Collar
Designed as precision spacing components, non-magnetic pony collars are manufactured in short, specific lengths (typically 5 to 20 feet) to adjust the total drill string configuration. They ensure that sensitive MWD directional probes and LWD sensors are positioned at the exact optimal distance from the drill bit for highly accurate, real-time data acquisition.
2. Non-Magnetic Saver Sub
Acting as a sacrificial transition piece, the saver sub absorbs the severe thread wear caused by frequent rig-floor make-up and break-out operations. By taking the cyclical mechanical abuse, this highly expendable pin-by-box sub protects the expensive connections of your primary MWD housings and premium drill collars from costly galling and premature failure.
3. Non-Magnetic Float Sub / Bit Sub
Positioned immediately above the positive displacement motor (PDM) or drill bit, this specialized sub features a precision-bored internal profile designed to house a standard float valve assembly. During connection times, it provides a critical backpressure barrier to prevent pressurized wellbore fluids and abrasive cuttings from U-tubing and plugging the internal electronics.
4. Non-Magnetic Lifting Sub (Handling Tool)
Engineered for safe rig-floor operations, our non-magnetic lifting subs thread directly into slick BHA components to provide a secure elevator seating shoulder. Manufactured from the same high-purity austenitic steel as our collars, they completely eliminate the risk of magnetic transfer to sensitive MWD housings during surface pipe handling and makeup procedures.
